समय र परिस्थिति सधैं एकनास रहँदैन, सबैको अवस्था, अधिकार वा जिम्मेवारी परिवर्तन भइरहन्छ। आज एकको पालो (राम्रो वा नराम्रो) छ भने भोलि अर्कोको आउँछ। विशेषगरी पारिवारिक सम्बन्धमा यो देखिन्छ जहाँ सासु र बुहारी जस्ता भूमिकाहरूको शक्ति र नियन्त्रण समयसँगै बदलिन्छ।

पहिलेकी बुहारी निर्मला आज कडा सासु भएकी छिन्, अनि उनकी बुहारीले त्यस्तै व्यवहार भोग्दैछिन् जस्तो उनले कुनै बेला भोगेकी थिइन्। साँच्चै, 'कहिले सासुको पालो कहिले बुहारीको पालो' भनेको यही रहेछ।
