कुनै आकर्षक तर असम्भव वा भ्रामक कुरा प्रस्तुत गरेर कसैलाई बेवकुफ बनाउन वा प्रलोभनमा पार्न खोज्नु। यस्तो प्रस्ताव प्रायः पासो वा निरर्थक प्रयास मात्र हुन्छ, जहाँ भनिएको कुरा सजिलै पाइँदैन।
